User Interface
Date
2025
This project explores an interactive museum experience designed for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, centered around a music remixing station that allows visitors to actively engage with music history. Instead of passively listening, users can experiment with elements like bass, treble, speed, and decade selection to create their own versions of existing songs, helping them understand how different musical components shape what they hear. The experience was designed for visitors of all ages, with a focus on making the interface intuitive and easy to use without instructions, using simple sliders, buttons, and clear labels so anyone can jump in and start experimenting. The visual style stays sleek and minimal to match the feel of the museum, keeping the focus on the music while still feeling modern and interactive. The layout also encourages shared participation, allowing multiple visitors to interact at the same time, while accessibility was considered through readable text, simple controls, and screen placement that works for different ages and abilities. This project emphasized the importance of clarity and restraint in interaction design, showing how playful, hands-on experiences can make learning feel more personal, memorable, and inspiring.
